Hun, Po, Ling, Shen and the Extraordinary Meridians

The yuan qi is where the shen-spirit consumes the jing-essence.  This is the perspective of a spiritual being having a material experience.  The purpose of the Jing is to allow the Shen to be reflected in one’s life.

The Shen is not necessarily a by-product of the Jing or Qi, but rather is being hosted by them.

The Po is our earthly soul and contains our life lessons and our ancestral records.

The Hun is our ethereal soul and guides us through imagination, vision and reminds of us our spiritual curriculum and potential to realize our Ming, destiny.

The Shen is hosted by the Pericardium which provides a tangible view on the world.

The Ling is the realization of the union of Heaven and Earth within the Central Channel and Chong Mai.

Chinese medicine is a medicine of the Heart.  Rectifying the heart and restoring the sanctity of the shen between Heaven and Earth, between Hun and Po, is often a prerequisite for deeper levels of healing.

We will look at how these energetics are reflected in the expression of the 8x Vessels. This class includes strategies and points for applying the 8x Vessels from a spiritual perspective.
