BaZi, or Eight Characters, is an ancient method rooted in the Chinese calendar that helps determine an individual’s Constitution. This technique can offer valuable insights into the diagnosis and treatment principles of Chinese Medicine. The initial process of setting up the BaZi chart, understanding personality traits, and identifying one’s base constitution is accessible to anyone interested in Chinese Medicine, particularly those familiar with Yin-Yang and the 5-phase theory. However, this class is especially beneficial for Chinese Medicine practitioners looking to enhance their clinical skills.
Join Howard Chen, MD, adjunct faculty at the Middle Way Acupuncture Institute, and Dr. Richard Tan, OMD student, for an enlightening four-day hybrid workshop on the fundamentals of BaZi Constitutional Diagnosis.
