Chinese Herbal Studies Certificate Program

Middle Way Acupuncture Institute is pleased to announce the addition of a one-year Chinese Herbal Studies Certificate program. The course will be taught in once-a-month four-day weekends—12 weekends total—with the addition of clinic hours, which will begin in June and a final exam in the 13th month.

Chinese Herbal Studies Program Begins Fall 2020


Some of Middle Way’s fine faculty—Matt Van Dyke and Sara Bayer—will be the core instructors. Guest faculty will also be invited to teach.

Successful completion of this course will qualify graduates to sit for the NCCAOM Chinese Herbology Examination.

The Middle Way Acupuncture Institute Chinese Herbal Studies Certificate Program is not accredited or preaccredited (candidacy) by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM). Graduates of this program are not considered to have graduated from an ACAOM accredited or candidate program and may not rely on ACAOM accreditation or candidacy for professional licensure or other purposes. Students enrolled in this program are not eligible to participate in the Federal grant and loan programs.

Successful completion of this course will qualify graduates to sit for the NCCAOM Chinese Herbology Examination.
